Festival Rules
Eligibility
All short films must be original and must not infringe third-party copyrights or other intellectual property rights.
The duration of the short film must not exceed 30 minutes (including the opening and closing credits).
The works may include a variety of genres such as drama, documentary, animation and experimental short films.
Submission Requirements
All films must be submitted before the specified deadline.
The submission format must meet the technical standards specified by the festival (such as MP4 format, high resolution).
Non-English works must provide English subtitles.
Screening and Selection
The festival organizing committee will conduct a preliminary screening of all submitted works and select the shortlisted films.
The shortlisted works will be selected by a professional jury based on the criteria of creativity, narrative quality, technical performance and overall artistry.
Entry Fee
All participants are required to pay a certain entry fee, which varies according to the submission date (early bird discount, regular submission and deadline submission).
Once the entry fee is paid, it is non-refundable.
Declaration of Originality
Participants must declare that their submission is original and does not involve copyright disputes or legal issues. Participants are solely responsible for any infringement.
Screening Rights and Authorization
Participants of the shortlisted films agree that the Film Festival has the right to broadcast and display their works during the Film Festival and in the promotion.
The copyright of the entries will not be transferred due to the entry, and the copyright and ownership will always belong to the creator.
Multiple Submissions
The same participant can submit multiple works, but each work must be submitted separately and the entry fee must be paid.
Works that have participated in previous film festivals may not be submitted again.
Promotional Materials
The shortlisted films must submit high-quality stills, posters, director resumes and other related promotional materials for the promotion of the film festival.
All promotional materials should ensure that there is no copyright dispute.
Withdrawal Policy
Once submitted, the entry cannot be withdrawn. If the participant needs to withdraw the work due to special circumstances, he must submit a written application to the organizing committee, but the organizing committee reserves the right to refuse.
Awards
The Film Festival has a number of awards, including but not limited to the "Best of the Show Award", "Best Director Award", "Best Screenplay Award", etc.
The selection results of all awards are determined by the Film Festival Jury, and the results are final and no appeals will be accepted.
Privacy and Use
The works and materials submitted by the participants will only be used for purposes related to the Film Festival. The Film Festival respects the privacy of the participants, and any use must be carried out within the scope of the Film Festival or with the permission of the participants.
